West Chester University Wells School of Music proudly presents...
And Now: A Word From Our Friends Lecture Series
Jonathan Ragonese, director
In its third season, the lecture series features Diane Monroe. Monroe, a native Philadelphian, is a violinist whose versatility and expressive artistry consistently bring both jazz and classical audiences to their feet. Her visibility as a jazz artist began with her long-standing membership as first violinist of the Uptown String Quartet and the Max Roach Double Quartet. In 2018, Ms. Monroe won both a Pew Fellowship, and a Pew Project grant from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. Join her as she explores her past and future with music. All lectures will take place in the Ware Family Recital Hall, Swope Music Building.
Please RSVP to musicinfo@wcupa.edu to obtain a parking pass via email.
