Adam Faulk Quintet featuring Nasir Dickinson: Echoing the Soul of Trane
Originally from the Greater Boston area, Adam Faulk is a jazz pianist, writer, and producer whose musical journey began at the age of five with classical violin lessons. He later transitioned to viola, performing with the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra from 1995 to 1998. Around this time, his passion for jazz and improvisation drew him to the piano, leading him to study at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he graduated in 1998.
Over the years, Adam has had the opportunity to perform and study with legendary artists including Donald Byrd, Billy Hart, Robin Eubanks, Gary Bartz, and Marcus Belgrave. His mentors have included George W. Russell Jr., the late Neal Creque, Lafayette Harris Jr., and Dan Wall.
