About the event
We are honored to be performing for the Decolonizing Psychology Conference at Delaware State University.
Featuring Jea Street, Jr, vocals | Nadjah Nicole, vocals | Kim Graham, storyteller | Aubrey Everett, keys | Mike Boone, bass | Jonathan Whitney, drums. A Celebration of Black Joy celebrates the joy that can be found in the lives of people of color throughout their history in America through storytelling and music. The joy found at churches, BBQs, weddings, births, chance meetings on the street, within children at play, and yes, even going home services, has served as Black America’s greatest protest.
