Kate Bresnahan (Nostalgia Fishtown)

Kate Bresnahan is a musician, vocalist, arranger, bandleader, and composer based in Brooklyn, New York. She performs original and arranged music with her band in New York City and Philadelphia in her soulful, spiritual, free style. Originally from northern Virginia, Kate began studying classical voice starting in her primary years and found her love in singing jazz and R&B throughout her studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. Through her art and her voice, Kate creates an atmosphere of love, joy, and self-reflection. Kate attributes her sound largely to the greats Amy Winehouse, Carmen McRae, Blossom Dearie, and Betty Carter. Kate Bresnahan and her band have performed at Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Cellar Dog, Silvana Harlem, Bourbon and Branch, NotSoLatin, Temple Performing Arts Center, Black Squirrel Club, and Midnight & the Wicked.
