Pittsburgh’s Finest meet the Criterions Jazz Ensemble for a knock-out concert. Virtuosic electric and piccolo bassist, Dwayne Dolphin (Wynton Marsalis Quintet, Geri Allen Trio, Stanley Turrentine) is joined by his musical father and jazz legend, Roger Humphries. A drummer of the highest caliber, Humphries is most known for his contribution to the canon of jazz with Horace Silver on seminal recordings Song for my Father, Cape Verdean Blues, and The Jody Grind (Blue Note Records).
