The Tim Zettlemoyer Sextet (Nostalgia Fishtown)

New York City trombonist, composer, and bandleader Tim Zettlemoyer, is making a name for himself through his blend of blues tradition and bop styles with a modern twist. His arrangements draw on his deep study and love of the great quartets, quintets, and sextets of the past, placing his own modern spin on jazz standards and original compositions. Zettlemoyer has performed with legendary musicians including: Mike Rodriguez, Terell Stafford, Dick Oatts, Donald Harrison, and Robert Edwards. Zettlemoyer has also had the privilege of performing on international-level stages such as Rose Hall Theater Jazz At Lincoln Center, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Blue Note NYC, Swing 46, Shape Shifter Lounge, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, and Bb Club Akasaka in Japan.
