Philadelphia-born pianist, composer, producer, and musical director Eric Wortham II brings his signature late-night sound to Velvet Nights — a soulful, high-level live music experience rooted in jazz, R&B, gospel, groove, and improvisation. Known for his expressive touch, rhythmic fire, and deep musical sensitivity, Wortham has performed with major artists including Jill Scott, Adele, Jazmine Sullivan, Seal, Vivian Green, Aloe Blacc, Kindred the Family Soul, Musiq Soulchild, and Jeff Bradshaw. His playing carries the spirit of Philadelphia: refined, raw, church-born, jazz-trained, and emotionally direct.
