Declan Cashman is a talented jazz vocalist based in Philadelphia, celebrated for his smooth, rich tone that combines the sophistication of classic jazz with the soulfulness of contemporary influences. Drawing inspiration from legends like Sarah Vaughan and Chet Baker, Declan’s artistry bridges timeless standards with fresh energy.
In 2025, Declan received national recognition as the Distinction Jazz Voice Winner for the prestigious YoungArts Foundation in Miami. He also won first place in the vocal category at the 2025 National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia. Declan was selected as the vocalist for the prestigious Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, the Monterey Jazz Festival's national all-star ensemble directed by GRAMMY-nominated pianist Gerald Clayton.
His repertoire emphasizes early jazz classics, showcasing his commitment to keeping their legacy alive for modern audiences. Declan is currently refining his craft under the mentorship of professors at Temple University.
