Drew Nugent & the Midnight Society

Drew Nugent (no relation) is a musician hailing from Philadelphia. His main instruments are piano, cornet/trumpet, vocals, and (believe it or not) the teapot! He has made a career out of the performance of early Jazz or “Hot Jazz” if you will. He has led a band called the Midnight Society since 2009. Be it solo or with his band the Midnight Society, you will not find anyone playing this century old music with more passion, freshness and authenticity. At least in Philly.
