Saxophonist and composer, Dan Wilkins hails from Allentown, Pennsylvania. Wilkins featured his original music on "Horizons Quartet" with legendary bassist Gene Perla, Philly drummer Byron Landham, and pianist James Collins. The album released in 2021 on PM Records. Wilkins arranged well known jazz and Great American Songbook music with a personal touch on his 2024 release, "Moonglow" with great drummer Bill Goodwin, pianist Jon Ballantyne, and bassist Adrian Moring.

Wilkins performs with his quartets regionally at Smalls Jazz Club, Deer Head Inn, Rite of Swing, Chris' Jazz Cafe, Lafayette Bar and Vic's Jazz Loft. They have performed at festivals such as COTA Jazz Festival, Clifford Brown Year Round, Wilkes Barre Cavalcade of Jazz, Musikfest, and Kennett Square Jazz Festival.

Wilkins also performs with his father, pianist Skip Wilkins, having toured internationally in Czech Republic, Germany, and Greece. They have four albums released with a fifth in production. Most recently featured on Deer Head Records with drummer Bill Goodwin and bassist Tony Marino on "In the Stars" (2024).
