Mila Samargia is a versatile vocalist based in Philadelphia, celebrated for her seamless crossover between jazz, R&B, classical, and adult contemporary styles. A classically trained musician and graduate of Florida Southern College with a degree in Vocal Performance, she distinguished herself early in her career by winning the Imperial Symphony Orchestra Beth Mason Young Artists Competition, earning a scholarship and the opportunity to perform operatic arias with the orchestra. She also enrolled in additional graduate-level studies in vocal performance at Temple University.
Her artistry is marked by warmth, technical precision, and expressive nuance, allowing her to move fluidly between genres. She has collaborated with acclaimed artists including pianist Robert Prester, Brazilian guitarist Phill Fest, guitarist Tom Lippincott and drummer Marko Marcinko, bringing her unique voice to settings that range from sultry jazz ballads and Brazilian sambas to classical arias and soulful contemporary ballads.
Active in Philadelphia’s vibrant music scene, Mila is a frequent presence in concerts, festivals, and collaborative projects.
