The "JAZZ CREW" Big Band

The "Jazz Crew" Big Band was founded in June of 2024 by Mark Edmonds, a professional trumpet player whose dream was to play in a jazz big band that would have some longevity. Always an admirer of the classic big band sound, Mark has put together an ensemble that truly has that sound.
The "Jazz Crew" Big Band consists of a standard rhythm section which includes: piano, guitar, bass, and drums. The band also has four trumpets, five saxophones, and four trombones. Occasionally, Mark brings in guest vocalists to add more versatility to the band.
The bands' repertoire includes songs written by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Golson, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie, to name a few. The band also performs some R & B, Pop and Show tunes. In addition, the band’s song list includes a half dozen Christmas classics that we perform during the Holiday season.
The "Jazz Crew" Big Band is available to play for all types of events and venues, including private parties, night clubs, restaurants, banquet halls, senior citizen facilities, and outdoor festivals.
