The Perch is a lovely 2 Story, 1400ft Building next to the Emerald Wildflower Garden in East Kensington / Fishtown Area (3 Blocks from Frankford Ave, Pizza Brain, Phila Brewing Co. and 2 Blocks from the Train Station).
We've made a space for artists to work, learn, cultivate community, and make new connections. This is a beautiful space - great for teaching workshops or classes, rehearsing, audio/video recording, and other great gatherings.
The garden outside hosts an annual concert series, poetry readings, classes in native plants, birding and other heartful gatherings. Also.. we have amazing neighbors - across the street is the Emerald Street Community Farm, one of the best urban farms in the nation with a variety of events for children and adults, huge harvests of veggies & herbs, and… !!! chickens !!!!!
