UNSCRIPTED JAZZ

At UNSCRIPTED JAZZ, we showcase international contemporary jazz, soul, and R&B music to the Philadelphia area and beyond. We feature many talented musicians from the local scene, alongside a diverse lineup of nationally and internationally recognized artists. Our roster is filled with rich, rhythmic improvisational sounds, including straight-ahead jazz, contemporary jazz, fusion, soul, and Latin jazz ensembles.

Unsripted Jazz at SOUTH
Since 2015, Unscripted Jazz has showcased artists at SOUTH Jazz Club, Philadelphia’s premier jazz venue. SOUTH combines live jazz music with elevated Southern cuisine, featuring inventive dishes made from indigenous Southern and local ingredients. Guests can enjoy their meals in an intimate setting while listening to live performances.

The menu includes comfort foods like gumbo, cornbread, hot honey-drizzled fried chicken, and boneless beef short ribs, along with delicious desserts like sweet potato cheesecake and pineapple bread pudding.

Seating begins at 5:30 PM in the Jazz Club, where you can enjoy the full dinner and bar menus before and during the show. For ticketed events, you will be prompted to select a time and guided through the ticket purchasing process.
