- Attic Brewing Company | Philly Jazz Scene
Attic Brewing Company 137 Berkley St, Philadelphia, PA 19144 Attic Brewing Co. opened in January 2020 with a mission to invite people to our taproom to share their stories over some really good beers, and to share our prosperity with our team, and our community. We're located in Germantown, a historic neighborhood in Northwest Philly. Germantown is filled with cool architecture, historic sites, a strong music & arts scene, community gardens, a diverse mix of amazing neighbors, and so much history. There hasn't been a brewery here in over 100 years, and we're so proud to bring brewing back to this awesome neighborhood! Our Give Back Beer Series allows us to collaborate with local nonprofits, and to date we've donated over $25,000 to local organizations making huge impacts in our neighborhood! Check out our On Tap page to see the current Give Back Beer on Tap. We brew a variety of beer styles including West Coast IPAs, Hazy IPAs, lagers, pilsners, stouts, porters, Belgian beers, sour beers, barleywines, barrel-fermented beers and barrel aged beers. Plus we always have 14 beers on tap, something for everyone. We've also won two Great American Beer Festival medals, 2020 Silver for our Bloodhound Brown Ale and 2021 Silver for our Unresolved Maibock. But for us it's about more than beer. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for EVERYONE to enjoy. We are proud that the diversity you see in our neighborhood is replicated in our customers and our team. Creating an inclusive space isn't always easy, but we prioritize respecting one another and believe that our differences are what make our spot so amazing. Our employee handbook includes anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, and use these policies to ensure that our team has a safe and welcoming place to work and customers have a great experience too. We expect our team to treat customers with respect regardless of their age, gender, nationality, abilities or skin color. And we also expect customers to treat our team and others with respect. Be cool, or be gone. In March 2022 we joined breweries across the world to release Brave Noise Hazy Pale Ale to honor those who have spoken out about their gender discrimination, racism, sexual assault, and harassment; and to bring further awareness to the issues that women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals face in craft beer. Hands down the coolest thing about our brewery is the people. We'll see you soon! Cheers! Laura, Todd & The Attic Brew Crew VENUE WEBSITE BACK TO VENUES BACK TO STUDIOS Not a venue member ?
